1. Introduction

The App is a workforce / field-operations tool for authorized personnel (surveyors and vendors) to:

• Log in and manage attendance (check-in / check-out)
• Complete media monitoring surveys
• Capture and upload site photographs
• Record site and user location related to assigned work

It is not intended for children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you provide

• Account credentials: mobile number and password used to sign in
• Profile information returned by our servers (e.g. name, role, user ID, campaign/vendor assignment)
• Survey answers and site details you enter in the App
• Photographs you capture or select for surveys / site verification

2.2 Information collected automatically

Location data (important for Play Store):

• Approximate and precise location (GPS)
• Location while the App is in use and, when permitted, in the background after you check in

Used for:

• Daily check-in and check-out with location
• Periodic location tracking of surveyors during checked-in work hours
• Associating vendor/survey sites with coordinates when you capture or submit them

Background location is used only for legitimate work attendance and field monitoring, not for advertising.

Device information:

• Device identifier (device_id) used for login security and multi-device login control
• Basic technical data needed to run the App (e.g. network connectivity state)

Usage / diagnostics:

• Crash reports and limited analytics via Google Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics (to improve stability and performance)

Local storage on your device:

• Login session/token
• Offline survey drafts, pending location points, and related operational data until synced to our servers
• App preferences (language, check-in state, tracking interval settings)

2.3 Permissions the App may request

Depending on Android version and role, the App may ask for:

• Camera
• Photos / storage (to attach images)
• Location (precise / approximate)
• Background location
• Notifications
• Internet / network state
• Foreground service (location tracking notification while checked in)

You can deny permissions, but some features (check-in, tracking, photo upload) may not work.

3. How we use your information

We use collected data to:

• Authenticate users and secure sessions
• Prevent unauthorized login from another device
• Record attendance (check-in / check-out)
• Track surveyor location during authorized work periods
• Collect survey responses and site documentation
• Upload photos and sync offline data to our servers
• Operate, maintain, debug, and improve the App
• Comply with legal and contractual obligations related to the monitoring program

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use your location or photos for personalized advertising.

4. How data is shared

We may share data with:

Service providers process data only as needed to provide their services under contract.

5. Data storage and retention

• Data may be stored on your device (offline cache) and on our servers.
• Location and attendance records are retained as needed for the monitoring program, audit, and compliance.
• Photos and survey submissions are retained according to project/client requirements.
• You may request deletion of your account-related data by contacting us (see Section 9), subject to legal and operational retention needs.
• Logging out clears local session data on the device; some offline/server records may remain as required for the program.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including:

• Authenticated API access (token/Bearer)
• HTTPS communication with our servers
• Access limited to authorized roles

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Background location disclosure (Play Store)

Media Monitoring collects location data to enable attendance check-in/check-out and continuous field tracking for surveyors while they are checked in, including when the app is closed or not in use.

This is required for verifying field presence during assigned work hours. Tracking can be stopped by checking out or logging out (subject to app rules).

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may:

• Grant or revoke permissions in Android settings
• Check out / log out to stop active tracking sessions
• Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data held about you
• Contact us with privacy questions

Some requests may be limited where data is required for employment/contract performance or legal compliance.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy, where permitted by law.
